This afternoon within a cooperative atmosphere, Cuban Transport Minister, Eduardo Rodriguez Dávila received French National Railways Chairman (SNCF) Mr Guillaume Pepy and the delegation accompanying him, at the headquarter of the Ministry of Transport.
The meeting was aimed at assessing the modernization project progress at Camaguey and Luyanó railway workshops as well as other bilateral cooperation projects. Also present at the event were His Excellency French Ambassador to Cuba Patrice Paoli. French Economic and Trade Attaché Michel Oldenburg, and the Director of the SNCF International Division Mr Dominique Vastel. On the Cuban side also attended the meeting Transport Vice-Minister Ms Naima Alfonso Acosta, Managing Director of railway Transportation Cristóbal L. Sangroni Rodriguez, Director of Cuban Railway Union Eduardo Hernández Becerra, and other senior officers and officials from the Ministry of Transport.
