Prioritized tasks for the transportation sector were evaluated today by executive bodies of the Ministry of Transport. Progress of the ongoing projects at the port of Batabano aimed at improving dockside operations creating better conditions for the passengers and cargo transportation to and from the Isle of Youth turned out to be the main topics of the agenda. According to the OSDE (Higher Business Management Organizations), GEMAR (Cuba´s Maritime Shipping Business Group) and GEA (Business Group of Automotive Services) in conjunction with the transportation construction group, the aforementioned work is making good progress as scheduled.

Likewise, the meeting also discussed transportation service for the employees of the Grupo BioCubaFarma  and the gradual recovery of their means of transportation.
